May 14th Kids' Club
The
Milton Monkeys Kids' Club will meet from 10 am to 12 noon and Get Buggy
as they make magnifying glasses and decorate bug jars.
Safety Day
Saturday, May 28th is Safety Day at
Milton
Mall
and parents are invited to bring their children to the mall from 11 am
to 1 pm. Technicians from SportChek will be offering free inspections
and tune ups for kids’ bicycles. The first 200 children will receive
gift bags stuffed with cool safety and play items including bicycle
reflectors, spoke spinners, activity books and much more! The team from
St. John Ambulance will be holding a Teddy Bear Triage for kids to bring
their favourite stuffed animals who are in need of some TLC out for a
fix up. Plus, Ruffins Pet Centre will be there with a few of their furry
friends to teach the basics of pet safety. There will also be a charity
bbq in support of the Power of Sport for Kids program. This is a
not-for-profit organization that provides children who don't have access
to sporting equipment the opportunity to play and enjoy sports and
activities.
Milton Rocks
Milton Rocks is just around the corner! The music festival takes place on Saturday, June 11th
at the Milton Fairgrounds. Tickets are on sale at the mall every
Saturday in May from 12 noon to 4 pm. For more info on the music
